:: MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION ::

The Central Orchard Mesa Volunteer Fire Department is a fire department offering it's citizens
and visitors fire and rescue services. We have three divisions: Fire/Rescue, EMS and Water
Rescue. All members are volunteers
Members are required to attend 36 hours of fire training, 36 hours of EMS training and 36 hours of
Water Rescue Training a year. A 30% minimum call volume is required for members to stay
active.
The provisions of membership are as follows:
1. Anyone applying for membership must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age.
2. Anyone applying for membership must be of sound mental and physical condition.
3. Anyone applying for membership must be of mature character.
4, After the Department has received completed application, it will be held on file for 1 (one)
year, and as openings become available with the Department applicant will be notified as to
dates and times of the application process.
5. The Command Staff, at a minimum, will interview the proposed applicant.
6. The applicant may need to pass a Department physical ops test.
7. Only upon acceptance onto the department will the member will be issued department property.

Fire Department Application - Departmental
Criminal history check - Departmental
Copy of driver's license along with drivers history check – DMV.
Copies of all current certifications.
Resume detailing past fire experience.
